Testimonials

"Coach John and my oldest son met when my son was 3 years old, and since then, John has been, without question, one of the most important and formative people in my son's life, and in fact in the life of our whole family. My son has baseball talent, passion, and intensity. He also has autism spectrum disorder, which means that many people look at him and see a problem, not a kid, let alone an athlete with potential. Coach John has always seen who my son is, and has always been there to help him learn how to channel that talent, passion, and intensity. He has also been there for us as parents as we have charted a path that would encourage my son's talent without souring his love for the game with undue pressure. This summer, my son will turn 11. He is his baseball team's starting pitcher, and is the only kid in the league not to have allowed a single run all season. He is also known throughout the league for his passionate love for baseball. Just as important, he has made great progress in learning how to manage his emotions and handle the ups and downs of baseball. These critical life skills  are harder for him, as a kid with autism, to learn but they are also crucial for lifetime success both on and off the field. All of those accomplishments are thanks to the firm and patient guidance of Coach John.”
